Charlotte,
North Carolina is the location of the National Bar Association
79th Annual Convention & Exhibits. Charlotte is the second
largest financial center in the United States, only New
York City is bigger. More than $896 Billion in financial
assets are managed in the Charlotte region. The current
population of the city of Charlotte is estimated to be 551,645.
Charlotte is the 26th largest city, the center of the nation’s
fifth largest urban region, and the largest city between
Washington, DC and Atlanta, GA.
Charlotte

will be the host city for the National Bar Association 79th
Annual Convention.
REGISTRATION
INFORMATION
Register now for the National Bar Association 79th Annual
Convention and Exhibits and save. The registra-tion fee
includes Continuing Legal Education (CLE) Seminars and course
materials, the President’s Reception, and the Annual Banquet.
Register now. Please do not mail or fax the enclosed registration
form after July 26, 2004.

When
Using Credit Cards:
- Select
Registration and Dues options as desired;
- Click
“Add To Cart” button, which will add selections to your
“Shopping Cart”;
- Once
in “Shopping Cart,” complete and review selec-tions and
complete requested information and click the “Check Out”

- Enter
any Special Services Requests, Address and Credit Card
Information and then click “Submit This Order” button.
This will submit your registration and bill your Credit
Card.

The Westin Charlotte offers a premiere Uptown location in
the heart of the city’s financial district. A convenient
trolley stop whisks guests to the city’s hottest dining
and entertainment district. All guest rooms and suites feature
the Heavenly Bed, dual-line telephones with voice mes-saging,
large work desk, in-room data port, complimenta-ry gourmet
coffee, in-room movies, and minibar.
The
hotel’s full-service concierge and well-equipped busi-ness
center are available to attend to all needs. A gourmet restaurant
and an outdoor café are guaranteed to satisfy any palate.
A number of attractions are within minutes of the hotel
including the shops and restaurants of Historic South End,
the Charlotte Convention Center, and Ericsson Stadium, home
of the Carolina Panthers.
The
National Bar Association Convention room rate at the Westin
Charlotte is $125.00 per night, single or dou-ble
occupancy not including applicable state and city taxes,
currently totaling 13%. To make reservations and
take advantage of the Convention room rate by July 15,
2004, please call (704)375-2600 or fax requests
to (704)375-2623. A deposit of one night’s room and
tax for each confirmed room will be due upon making your
reservations. All credit cards used for deposits will be
charged immediately. Deposits are refundable if the Hotel
receives notice of cancellation at least 48 hours prior
to date of the convention. Check-in time is 3:00 p.m. Check-out
time is 12:00 noon.

Bar Association 79th Annual Convention. To obtain airline

insure that the NBA establishes a history that in turn will
enable us to negotiate lower airfares, be sure to regis-ter
your flight with our official airline.
CONTINUING
LEGAL EDUCATION
The National Bar Association is an accredited sponsor in
those states with mandatory CLE requirements. Seminars may
be used to satisfy CLE credits. The Uniform Certificate
of Attendance (U.C.O.A.) and applicable state forms must
be completed in order to receive CLE credits. These forms
will be available in the 79th Annual Convention Exhibit
Hall. Consult the CLE Commission in your state of admission
for specific requirements. Please make sure that the
CLE form is completed before leaving the convention.
