28, 2004 PROCLAIMED CLYDE BAILEY DAY BY TWO CITY MAYORS
National
Bar Association President Clyde Bailey received Keys to
the City from Mayor Keith Hightower of the City of Shreveport,
Louisiana and Mayor George Dement of the City of Bossier
City, Louisiana. Bailey was invited to Shreveport/Bossier
to address the Louisiana Judicial Council. President Bailey
commented that he would aspire to one day earn these high
awards presented by the mayors of two great cities in Louisiana.
The
National Bar Association, founded in 1925, is the nation's
oldest and largest association of attorneys of color, representing
a professional network of over 20,000 lawyers, judges, educators
and law students.
