	March 23, 2006 2006 INTERNATIONAL AFFILIATES MEETING TRAVELS TO ETHIOPIA Washington, DC, (3/23/06)……. The 2006 National Bar Association (NBA) International Affiliates meeting will be held June 3 - 13, 2006 in 5 historic cities in Ethiopia. Over 45 NBA delegates led by President Reginald M. Turner, Jr. will convene with colleagues representing various aspects of the East African legal system. The ten day excursion includes professional development seminars that will be delivered jointly with Ethiopian lawyers, meetings with Ethiopian judges, state department briefings given by representatives of the US Embassy, discussion forums with representatives of the Ethiopian bar associations, and special meetings with the President of Ethiopia, Lieutenant Girma Wolde-Giorgis and Prime Minister Meles Zenawi. Tour sites in Ethiopia include Addis Ababa, Bahar- Dar, Gondar, Lalibela, and Axum. A post excursion for NBA delegates to Kenya includes travel to Massai Mari and Nairobi. The full delegation is due to return on June 17, 2006.
