THE STEPHANIE TUBBS JONES SCHOLARSHIP
Established by Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton and Former President Bill Clinton
with the Delta Research and Educational Foundation

The Delta Research and Educational Foundation, the charitable arm of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. is honored to be selected by Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton and former President Bill Clinton to house the newly established scholarship, named in honor of their long-time friend and devoted public servant, the late Congresswoman Stephanie Tubbs Jones.

Inspired by her undeniable dedication to public service, and knowing of her devotion to the Delta Sigma Theta sisterhood, the Clinton family created the scholarship as a living tribute to her leadership, to her integrity, and in recognition of her role as a trailblazer.

The scholarship will award financial grants to outstanding African American women choosing a career in public service.

As Dr. Alison J. Harmon, The Delta Foundation President recently stated, "We deeply appreciate the Clinton family's generosity. Combined with the on-going support of the Delta sisterhood, and other caring individuals, we ensure that the Stephanie Tubbs Jones' legacy of public service is passed on to generations of African American women."
