Join the NBA Women Lawyers Division on an exquisite tour of the world famous Laura Plantation, a sugar cane plantation. See the Big House and the slaves' quarters and follow the story of the Creole Plantation Legacy. The Laura Plantation is located near Historic New Orleans Louisiana and is featured as one of the 26 sites on the Louisiana African American Heritage Trail. The Clyde E. Bailey, Sr. And Rapheal M. Prevot, Jr. National Bar Institute Annual Golf Tournament will be held at TPC Lousiana, located at 11001 Lapalco Boulevard, Avondale, LA 70094. The golf course is located just 15 miles from the site of the 93rd NBA Annual Convention hotel, the Hilton New Orleans Riverside. The golf tournament, on Wednesday, August 1, 2018, at this renowned, public golf course is sure to deliver a memorable, high-end golfing experience. NBA golfers and friends are invited to play like a pro on this professionally trodden golf course, while supporting the National Bar Institute and competing for trophies and bragging rights. Located a short distance from the heart of the “Big Easy”, TPC Louisiana boasts an award-winning, championship golf course, which serves as the home of the PGA TOUR’s Zurich Classic of New Orleans. TPC Louisiana is consistently included in GolfWeek’s “Best Courses You Can Play.” The golf course, which is part of the Audubon Golf Trail, stretches over 250 acres of wetlands along. the Mississippi River delta. True to Pete Dye’s style, the golf course features over 100 bunkers. TPC Louisiana boasts a series of short and compelling par-4 holes to balance. The five sets of tees, ranging from a fair 5,121 yard from the women’s tees all the way back to the 7,400 PGA TOUR tees, offers golfers of all skill levels a great blend of challenge and playability.  This year’s golf outing is sure to be a highlight of the 93rd NBA Convention. All golfers, veteran and novice, are welcome and will be paired by long-standing Tournament Director, Fred Dorse, to insure a competitive team. In addition to the primary outing, a separate Youth Clinic will be conducted in partnership with the First Tee of New Greater Orleans, an organization whose mission is to impact the lives of young people, by providing educational programs that build character, instill life-enhancing values and promote healthy choices through the game of golf. This NBI golf outing offers a day of the unparalleled TPC Louisiana golf experience, combined with NBA collegiality and camaraderie, and is of immeasurable value. NBI, NBA, local affiliate attorneys, members, friends and guests are invited to register and share in what is sure to be an enjoyable event. The registration fee of $250 includes the following: round-trip transportation from the convention hotel (the Hilton New Orleans Riverside), course fees, golf bag handling, carts, continental breakfast, practice range access, 18 holes of play, full New-Orleans style luncheon, trophy awards program, and a goody bag, filled with treats and treasures. Golf clubs and accessories are available for rental, in the Golf Club of TPC Louisiana. Scenic vistas and charitable giving warmth are included! Refund Policy

We understand that things happen and sometimes you must cancel. Refunds for National Bar Events may be provided if request is received 30 days or more days before the event date; a $50 cancellation fee will be applied. June 25, 2020.  If request is less than 30 days before the event or after the event, only credits may be provided to be used towards another National Bar Event. Credit must be used within 1 calendar year.  For more information concerning the National Bar event refund, please contact us at  

Registration rates for the NBA 95th Virtual Convention programming are non-refundable.
