01/23/2021 | Special Topics in Arbitrators and MediatorsThis training is generally held annually by the Alternative Dispute Resolution Section during the National Bar Association Annual Conference as part of the qualifications process for those individuals interested in becoming certified to join the NBA-ADR Panel of Arbitrators and/or the Panel of Mediators. Due to the coronavirus this training was not conducted during the 2020 Annual Conference and was rescheduled to January 23, 2021. The FMCS, a longtime supporter of the Section, has agreed to conduct this training. The training consists of two sessions, 2.5 hours each, with one session devoted to the fundamentals of arbitration, and the second session dedicated to the fundamentals of mediation.
